I’ve been blogging for a couple of years. You’re invited over to PastorDave, where I seek to write and interact on a variety of subjects each week, to read and comment. 

Present Setting Of Ministry: I’ve been pastor of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church of Duluth, GA, for a little over 7 years. It’s a small church, however moving forward in many ways. Give me opportunity, and I will gladly share with you how this fine church has loved my family and helped me to mature as a follower of Christ.

Coming To Know Jesus: My initial commitment to Christ occurred at the age of 16. I verbally and publicly devoted to Jesus as the centerpiece of my life. Of course there was much to learn. About a year later I gladly agreed to what I understood to be God’s desire for me to serve the church as a pastor. College and Seminary followed. Since then, I have worked at several churches over the course of about 25 years.
